Words from Joe: Thank you for visiting the site. 2026 is looking to be an exciting year, which is great after the journey so far! Many will know I have been involved in music for many years now.
Less common knowledge is that in 2024 I started having hearing problems, and am now a hearing impaired musician, dependent on hearing aids!
In this time I became more motivated to record a solo EP, while I still could in case my hearing continued to deteriorate!
... and through some chance encounters I was fortunate to work with the fabulous Ed Harcourt to record and produce my EP!
Ed didn't know about my hearing problem until part way through recording, and the whole EP was recorded in 1 day! So it's more of a live recording or demo I guess, no click track, the timing is "fluid", it's a bit pitchy, but in a bizarre way it works at capturing the atmosphere of the moment!
